Title: The Function to Breathe, Chapter Seventeen
Fandom/Pairing: Twilight, Edward/Jacob, Slash
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 2353
Genre: A little bit of everything - romance, humor, angst. The usual.
Disclaimer: Nothing about Twilight belongs to me what-so-ever. Meyer can keep it.
Warnings: None, really. Not for this chapter, anyway.
Summary: Yet another imprinting fic. Jacob imprints on Edward and flees, intent on free-will, but he isn't going to survive without contact. Edward has to find him to save his life - but Jacob isn't going to make it that easy. Neither are the new players, who are going to set into motion a series of events that might make everything fall apart. Set during Eclipse, before the truce between sides.
Notes: So I've lost a lot of readers, but a huge thanks to those who are still with me; much appreciated!

Preview:
He barely had time to process that thought when Jacob rolled onto his back and pushed himself up against the headboard, the sheet slipping down to the sharp V of his abdomen. Edward’s eyes stayed there a moment too long; it was an almost physical effort to look up at Jacob’s smirking mouth.
